Vacancy – Project officer for online classroom

In accordance with the indicated need for an additional position in Project department , as of 01st June 2021, the Representative office of the foreign Humanitarian Organization “Islamic Relief WW” England, Sarajevo announces:

for admission to employment for a definite period of time, with a mandatory probationary period of 3 months, for the position:

                                Project officer for online classroom (1 position in Sarajevo).

Job Description:

• Contact with teachers, notification of class dates, and possible changes in dates,
• Emphasize the rules of conduct for students,
• Coordinate of needs for students who have chosen more subjects, if the terms overlap to decide which ones to go to and which ones not,
• Recording the presence of students in classes and their behavior,
• Monitoring the progress of students,
• Taking into account the visibility of the project and media material.
• Reports to the Project Coordinator

Qualifications & competencies:

• High school education
• Work experience – at least two years on the same or similar jobs.
• Experience in establishing and developing relationships with key stakeholder

Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:

• Excellent English knowledge
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
• Knowledge of working on the Zoom application
• Category B driver’s license – Active driver
• Excellent inter- personal communication skills
• Strong motivation and empathy towards the aims and objectives of the organisation
• The ability to work accurately under pressure and pay attention to detail
• Ability to represent Islamic Relief in a wide range of situations
• IT literate
• Strong organisational skills
• Commitment and respect for organizational values, principles and policies such as the Islamic values, Child protection, Fight against bribery and corruption, Code of Conduct and Dignity at work.

Other:

• Have Bosnian citizenship
• Have a flexible approach to work in order to accommodate events, functions and work activity
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally, and at short notice

The chosen candidate will perform the position as “Project officer for online classroom”, full time (40 hours per week) in our Sarajevo office.
